Evidence and accountability
Trust Centre
How EVDeal checks information, explains evidence, labels commercial relationships and responds when something needs correcting.
Show what we know, explain what we do not know, label commercial relationships clearly and correct material errors when they are found.
What trust means here
Trust is not a badge that makes every price or offer perfect. It is a working process: identify the source, show important limitations, date-check information where practical, separate evidence from estimates and make commercial intent recognisable.
Our information hierarchy
Manufacturer, provider, regulator and government information is preferred for specifications, eligibility and formal terms.
Pages may show a reviewed or verified date indicating when an editor last checked the stated source or offer.
Anonymous submissions add useful market context but are clearly treated as community evidence rather than official pricing.
What “verified” does and does not mean
A verified or checked label means EVDeal reviewed the stated information or destination on the displayed date. It does not mean EVDeal bought the product, audited the business, guarantees availability, confirms every eligibility condition or endorses the provider. Visitors should recheck time-sensitive details before committing.
Calculators, scores and comparisons
Tools organise information and provide indicative outputs from the inputs and assumptions shown. Scores are EVDeal presentation aids, not regulated ratings or guarantees. Results can be affected by missing providers, changing tariffs, seasonal efficiency, individual insurance risk, installation complexity and other personal circumstances.
Commercial transparency
Affiliate links and paid placements help support EVDeal. Relevant commercial content should be labelled before engagement using clear wording. Commercial relationships do not guarantee a positive conclusion, a higher score or permanent inclusion. Read the Affiliate Disclosure and Advertising Policy.
Privacy-conscious tools
EVDeal aims to collect only what a feature needs. Some tools store choices in the visitor’s own browser; anonymous submissions avoid requesting direct identifiers; and current first-party website measurement is designed without a visitor ID. Exact handling is explained in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Corrections and complaints
Send the page address, the detail you believe is wrong and, where possible, a supporting source. EVDeal may correct, clarify, add context, remove or recheck the material. Commercial partners do not receive a right to suppress accurate criticism simply because they advertise.
Not an official brand or public body
EVDeal is not a manufacturer, dealership, insurer, broker, energy supplier, charge-point operator, regulator or government body. Brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Unless clearly stated, inclusion does not imply endorsement or an official partnership.
