EVDeal.co.uk is a UK electric vehicle ownership savings platform covering insurance guidance, home and public charging comparisons, owner-submitted price evidence, reviewed deal listings, practical tools, servicing and independent guides.

Information we collect

We may collect information you choose to provide, including your email address when joining the newsletter; your name, email address and deal details when submitting a deal; advert submission details; business contact details; uploaded advert content; comments; or messages sent to us. Deal submissions also store the IP address used to send the form for abuse prevention and security.

How we use your information

We use this information to operate the website, manually review deal and advert submissions, ask for clarification where needed, send requested newsletter emails, respond to enquiries, prevent abuse, improve the website and keep necessary business records. Deal submissions are not published automatically.

When you use the contact form, we store the name, reply email, subject and message you provide, together with the IP address and browser user-agent used for abuse prevention and basic security. Contact messages are available only in the EVDeal administration area and may also be delivered to the private administration inbox.

Newsletter emails

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address and an unsubscribe token. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.

When you unsubscribe, we may keep your email address on a suppression list so we do not accidentally send newsletter emails to you again. You can request full deletion by contacting us.

Advertising and affiliate links

Advertisers may provide business names, contact details, advert copy, banner images and target URLs. Public adverts may include sponsored links. Affiliate links may redirect visitors to third-party websites.

Cookies and analytics

We use necessary browser storage for features such as theme choice, saved tools and security. EVDeal also operates a first-party, cookieless measurement system to understand which pages and tools are useful.

This measurement records the page path, type of action, referring website domain, broad device category and date/time. It does not store your name, email address, full IP address, precise location, advertising identifier, browser fingerprint or activity on other websites. Measurement records are automatically removed after 90 days.
